Musical Theater Productions in Santa Fe, New Mexico
“Tri-M Productions … has revived musical theater as a regular feature in Santa Fe, with a rousing rendition of the classic, Oklahoma! performed just last month.”
Santa Fe New Mexican editorial, December 10, 2024
Tri-M Productions will present "Fiddler on the Roof" November 20–23, 2025 at the St. Francis Auditorium of the New Mexico Museum of Art.
This classic musical, with lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, music by Jerry Bock, and book by Joseph Stein, centers on Tevye, who attempts to maintain his Jewish traditions as outside influences encroach upon his family's lives. He must cope with the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters who wish to marry for love. An edict of the tsar eventually evicts the Jews from their village. We feel this is a story of all oppressed and displaced people.
Reserved seat tickets now available at our ticketing website. Seats $56, $36, and $20 — and we are this year only selling 8 seats to a “9-seat” pew to give you a bit more room in that historic but acoustically nice auditorium!
Thank you, Patrons!
We raised many significant donations last fall and winter, enough to continue with full seasons of three musicals a year along with more Tri-M Showcase Series concerts. We continue to execute our mission goal to be able to continue to bring you quality local musical theater here in Santa Fe with local talent and all live music here in Santa Fe!
And now we are planning FOUR shows by next June! Check our our ticketing site for upcoming shows as described below.
Boogie Woogie & Bugle Boys is an immersive Andrews Sisters USO Cabaret show!
This cabaret isn't just a concert, it's an experience. Audiences are transported to a 1940s USO club, complete with period costumes, military uniforms, swing dancers, and a charismatic emcee in the style of Bing Crosby. The Andrews Sisters take the stage to perform their iconic hits while the audience becomes part of the atmosphere, interacting with characters, dancing, and reliving the patriotic spirit of WWII-era America.
This is another event in our "Tri-M Showcase Series" where we are producing shows directed and managed by our Company of Talent. Written and Directed by Alix Generous and starring Adam Wagner, Divara Harper, Kelsi Beer, and Laura Witte, this will be a fun show to kick-off the December holidays.
Tickets just $35 for VIPs in front, $25 and $15 for Student/Youths. Shows will be Friday December 5 at 7:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm December 6 & 7, all at the Muñoz-Waxman Gallery at CCA (the home of Chatter concerts).
Up Next For Tri-M Productions:
She Loves Me is a musical with a book by Joe Masteroff, and music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick (who a year later wrote Fiddler on the Roof). The plot revolves around Budapest shop employees Georg and Amalia, who, despite being consistently at odds with each other at work, are unaware that each is the other's secret pen pal met through lonely-hearts ads.
The musical is the third adaptation of the 1937 play Parfumerie by Hungarian playwright Miklós László. (The fourth adaption was the 1998 movie You’ve Got Mail.). She Loves Me has slowly become a cult classic, and the massively successful 2016 Broadway revival became the first Broadway show ever to be live-streamed.
The Last Five Years is a musical written by Jason Robert Brown, with a cast of two. The story explores a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress. The show uses a form of storytelling in which Jamie's story is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple have first met) and Cathy's story is told in reverse chronological order (beginning the show at the end of the marriage). The characters do not directly interact except for a wedding song in the middle as their timelines intersect.
It premiered at Chicago's Northlight Theatre in 2001 and was then produced Off-Broadway in March 2002. Since then it has had numerous productions, both in the United States and internationally, and a Broadway production in 2025. A movie version appeared in 2014.
