Who We Are:
The company is led by Artistic Director Marilyn Barnes, a thirty-year veteran of the performing arts in Santa Fe. She has taught at both College of Santa Fe and Santa Fe High School, performed with various local ensembles including TheaterWork, and directed a number of local musical productions including Brundibar, The Last Five Years, Ordinary Days, Closer Than Ever, Godspell, and several Disney reviews. Aided by Musical Director Kathlene Ritch, Tri-M Productions presented video playlist shows during the COVID pandemic, three live-theater musicals in 2021, and is planning three more in 2022. Marilyn has a vision of bringing a variety of musical theater shows to Santa Fe while providing opportunities for talented young adults to continue to perform in their lives.
Sarah LeBlanc has been involved with theater for as long as she can remember. She began on the performing end of things and in high school she regularly traded babysitting for private voice lessons with Marilyn. She transitioned from performing to backstage and became the Lighting Supervisor at The Lensic Performing Arts Center in 2002 and then became The Lensic’s Production Manager in 2010. She also helped create and run The Lensic’s high school technical theater internship program from 2002-2015.
Aubrey Hicks is from Warrensburg, Missouri where she grew up performing in summer musicals and participating in all things theater. She originally attended Santa Fe University of Art and Design until its unfortunate closing, then attended Columbia College in Chicago before finishing college at Stephen’s College in Columbia Missouri with a BFA In Musical Theater. During her time in Missouri, she performed in shows such as Into the Woods (the Witch), Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett),and Mama Mia (Rosie). When she wasn’t on stage, she was enjoying her time helping in wardrobe and wig design.
Cris W. Barnes is a retired physicist from Los Alamos National Laboratory. In addition to a little scientific consulting, he now does corporate and copyright law, accounting, insurance underwriting, and social media management/advertising at the whim of his wife, with hobbies of mixology and keeping up with political shenanigans.
